Last weekend they had like 96000000 (NinetysixMillion!!) points. I was hoping they would get to 100 Million but it was very close.

Well That means we own. And still not everyone donates daily req of 10k. In an allience if everyone donates 10k that allience would have 100million well 65k is still good

FFF doesn't take any skill, just a lot of people with a lot of time. So if by "best guild ever" you mean "guild with a lot of people and time", then yes, you're right. Yes, I am mindlessly impressed with big numbers, too!

The really ironic thing is that owning a town doesn't mean shit anymore. :]
Buy lockpicks for 1200, sell them for 1250. Hooray for seeing your faction farming pay off.

Yes... because i find Zingers comment annoying i must be 1 of the people its directed towards. The only reason i would want to hold a town is to get discount lockpicks... and i could do that anytime by just joining 1 for a few days.

would be nice to have those towns that get more map uncovered lol, i like factions, i like to play it as PvE, i enjoy AB more than any other PvP, though HvH is fun at times, mainly because they are not to serious for me
I have come across [Sins] once in ab and man they are scary as hell, ripped through everything so fast

Not to mention, the leader of [Sins] is a cry baby and can't cope with life, but that is really beyond the scope of things.... oh he hurt his weeee wittle footsie... oh noes! That doesn't give him a legit reason to be an ass in Alliance chat. I hope HzH and Cavalon burn to the ground and the kurzicks and luxons are all abducted by aliens and anally probed. KTHX!
Now, onto the subject at hand. Yes, isn't FFFing pathetic? I joined [Dead] a about a week ago to get my Supporter of the luxons title quickly on my third account, then I told off the alliance leader today in Alliance chat which is STRICTLY OFF LIMITS (officers control your memberz!!! lol) So basically, I raged today, and yeh, FFFing is a waste of time. There is no benefit to the time spent. Oh, lockpicks for 1200g! OMG! yeh.... oh wait.....
So, I say let those who think FFFing is worth it continue to waste time while the rest of us play this game for fun, something that FFF alliances have forgotten how to have.

How did they classify as the "good ol' days"? What was so good about them?
I wouldn't say faction farming is necessarily a waste of time. If people enjoy that title, and FFFing is the quickest way to earn it, then it's helping people enjoy the game more. Me, I just spent time in Aspenwood until I was a companion of those Kurzicks.
I do remember when barely a million faction was required to own HzH. But that was just as unattainable to my guilds back then as 60 million is to my current guilds.

It would be nice if town owning had some significance and taking control of the towns with that line meant something as well. Then they should nerf all the other faction gain things so AB is the fastest way if your good at it. Would make the whole town owning thing (which should have been a huge part of factions) kind of interesting and it would take at least some skill to own a town still not much but more than FFF which takes no skill at all.

One of my officers went to [Sins] that weekend to get his Kurzick title up and help some old friends out.
He's a very experienced FFF player.
When you have several of those players, they don't even have to spend all day FFF-ing.
I know he was online a lot less than I was, but he managed to get a lot more faction than I did.

That is because the system they use to FFF is so horribly simplistic. It is almost demeaning to those that have an IQ higher then a fruit fly. Go to lutgardis conservatory, take an A/x or X/A with the elite as shadow form. Run to specified locations in Melandru's Hope, one person stands near door. Once the farthest person (aka the stairs) person pings their HP, person left at the door (which by the way is right next to the rez shrine) takes the quest and accepts the reward and leaves. The rest of the players who are dead resurrect, take the quest, get the reward, and walk inside. A run takes about 1.5-2.5 mins. 400 kurzick faction, 2000 exp, 150 gold. Wow, because it takes a skilled player to run to a designated spot and then die.... oh wait... it doesn't. nvm, how silly of me.
